The Legion

   Since their fist arrival in Union space, there has been much debate as to whether or not the Legion are even sentient. They are called the Legion because they act, and appear to even think, as one giant entity.  Like locusts, they travel in huge, nebulous swarms, consuming every available resource that crosses their path.

     Their origin is unknown, but what is known is that the Legion do not pilot their space craft. They are their space craft. Some have hypothesized them to be mindless, wandering automatons. Others believe this to be incorrect, because there seems to be some organized motive to all their destructive madness. For when the Legion speak, they make reference to only one thing: the inevitable arrival of someone—or something—that they call "The Epoch Star."
